As an implementation partner for the DDU-GKY project, we equip rural youth with in-demand skills, helping them unlock opportunities in the organized job market. 👨🍳 Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commis Chef Trainer to train, mentor, and prepare students for careers in the hospitality and culinary industry. This role involves delivering both theoretical and practical training aligned with industry standards while fostering professional discipline, kitchen hygiene, and soft skills essential for today’s workplace. ✅ Eligibility Criteria & Experience Requirements: A Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or a related discipline is essential. 5+ years of total work experience in the hospitality industry. Minimum 2 years of teaching/training experience is mandatory. Candidates with SSC (Sector Skill Council) certification will be preferred. Hands-on expertise in professional kitchen operations, food safety, hygiene, and modern cooking techniques. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging culinary training sessions covering food preparation, cooking methods, hygiene, and safety practices. Conduct student assessments, practical evaluations, and skill-based learning interventions. Guide trainees in grooming, discipline, and soft skills required in professional kitchen environments. Keep training content updated with current industry practices and DDU-GKY guidelines. Collaborate with the training center team to track student progress and ensure quality outcomes.
