Job Summary:

As a Commis 1, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your section. You'll support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and help maintain high hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
• Follow recipes and techniques to ensure consistency in food preparation.
• Ensure food is stored and prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in receiving and checking the quality of ingredients and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
• Be proactive in learning and improving culinary skills.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen (12 years preferred).
• Culinary diploma or relevant certification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions precisely.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.
