Job Description

A commis chef is an entry-level chef who works under the guidance of senior chefs to learn and assist in various kitchen tasks. Their responsibilities typically include: Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping, and seasoning ingredients. Cooking Assistance: Helping senior chefs with meal preparation and plating. Kitchen Maintenance: Keeping workstations clean, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Inventory Management: Receiving deliveries, checking stock quality, and notifying supervisors of low supplies. Learning & Development: Gaining hands-on experience in different cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
