Job Description

Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping and measuring meats, vegetables and other items as directed by the Chef de Partie.​ Assist in cooking, basic sauces, salads and simple dishes, following recipes and portion standards.​ Keep workstations and equipment clean, sanitized and well-organized, following all food safety and hygiene rules. Receive and store deliveries, rotate stock and help with inventory counts as needed.​ Support plating and presentation during service and help with cleaning down the kitchen at the end of shifts.​ Learn and follow the kitchen’s SOPs, contribute to smooth service and gradually take more responsibility as skills grow.​
