Job Description

Job Title: Commi 1 – South Indian Cuisine Location: Sector 32, Chandigarh Experience Required: 3–6 Years Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present authentic South Indian dishes (e.g., dosas, idlis, vadas, sambhar, chutneys, curries, etc.) with high quality and consistency. Ensure adherence to recipe standards, portion control, and hygiene practices. Assist the Head Chef / CDP in daily kitchen operations and menu planning. Maintain cleanliness, stock rotation, and proper storage of raw materials and cooked food. Support the training of junior staff and kitchen helpers when required. Follow FSSAI standards, HACCP guidelines, and kitchen safety norms. Manage workload efficiently during rush hours while ensuring timely service. Requirements: 3–6 years of proven experience in South Indian cuisine at a reputed restaurant/hotel. Strong knowledge of traditional recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Good communication and team collaboration skills. Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
