Commercial Underwriter

As a Commercial Underwriter at our company located in Richmond Road, Bangalore, you will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting risks associated with commercial insurance products such as Fire, Marine, and Property. With a minimum of 8 years of experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting, you will play a crucial role in assessing risks, determining pricing, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory norms. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing data to assess risk, collaborating with sales and claims teams to drive business growth, developing underwriting guidelines, and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, agents, and clients. Your expertise in underwriting principles, insurance laws, and industry regulations will be essential in making impactful underwriting decisions. To excel in this role, you must possess strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
