Job Description

  • The candidate for the post will be accountable for delivering KPIs like - Volume achievement, driving visibility, ensuring maximized distribution and market coverage for Meerut and Agra depots in CSD
  • Enable delivery on key CSD financial targets (NSV, gross profit, ROI and market share) versus budget.
  • Share inputs/ insights with the Customer Marketing team (central office) with a CSD perspective to help in the building of a robust channel & brand plans
  • Lead the execution of channel strategy within the CSD team
  • Customize the plan from the central Commercial Marketing team to include the nuances for each state to ensure the execution at customer level.
  • Foster strong relationships with both internal & external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration & alignment with the CSD plans
  • Define & refresh outlet segmentation by gathering inputs from ZSMs & CSD Head.
  • Tracks the 6P’s execution inside the team providing and proposing actions to close the gaps against the plans
  • Monitor distribution of POSM stock across CSD channel as per targets, timeliness and territory requirements.
  • Closely monitor the market and competitive landscape to evaluate existing and upcoming opportunities/ challenges and provide hands-on Gemba insights to the stakeholders. • Drives shopper and customers insights agenda within the team. Identifies knowledge needs and connects with central insight team on methodologies and execution of the agenda • Runs pre and post promotion evaluation in conjunction with the commercial finance counterpart and builds recommendations
  • Act as a go to person in the CSD to ensure alignment & coordination between the requirements of sales team and the planned initiatives to be rolled-out in the region. • Evaluate Merchandisers’ performance and build recommendations to share with other stakeholders for necessary actions
  • Facilitate the customer development team in the execution of digital initiatives in other customers by providing relevant content, pictures and helping in the discussion with customers' digital counterparts.
  • Foster a positive & inclusive team culture to maximize individual & collective performance
  • Execute all initiatives as per regulatory approval.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/MBA
  • 8+ years’ experience in the CPG/ Alco-Bev or related industries
  • BTL Marketing background is preferred.
