Role & responsibilities

Job Profile

  • Complete Site Accounting & Commercial support to Project business.
  • Sales Invoicing and strong Collection focus for Project business.
  • Price Variation calculations preparations and client approvals for PV.
  • Strong & Tighter controls on Audit, Compliance & Site processes.
  • Complete Administrative and commercial support to Project business.
  • Customer engagement wrt to collections and tax related issues.

  • Seamless alignment of sales accounting between HO, Sites and Branch by proper co-ordination between all the site accountants, HO coordinators, Senior HO coordinators and Business teams.
  • Monitoring of bills raised in the system but not submitted to customer.
  • Monthly project wise reports of gaps between system billing & RA billing.
  • Daily review of Collection with Team and tracking working capital.
  • Providing taxation and commercial support to the site accountants for collection when required.
  • Planned project review with Program Managers of Cluster projects (Billing, Collection, Operational issues, Estimated cost for POC & Financial closure of projects).
  • Monthly VC review of Projects with Site Accountants, HO Coordinators &Businesspeople.
  • Handling statutory Auditors and Internal auditors for project related matters.
  • Monthly Trial balance, P&L and Balance sheet ledger scrutiny and deep dive for variances if any.
  • Bank reconciliation statement every month and the same needs to be send to HO Mumbai.
  • Proactively identifying possible problems and work on their logical closures.
  • Training & Development of siteaccountants.
  • Ensuring availability of cash at sites and monitoring its accounting.
  • Monitoring the process of verification of vendor payments.
  • Both Customer & vendor monthly reconciliation and retention reconciliation including settlement of debit / credit notes
  • Process automation & digitization from System Invoicing to collections.
  • Inventory reconciliation between Trial Balance& Logistic reports.
  • Leading and managing all project sites Inventory controls & checks.
  • Pay Direct card stronger & tighter controls & process/policy compliance.
  • Site cash expenses and reconciliation.
  • Vendor original bills tracking and vendor reconciliation of ledgers and scope of work deliverables and settlement of Debtit/Credit notes.
  • Checking & validating site expenses vouchers for team.
  • Regular site visits and ensuring smooth business support.
  • GST & commercial knowledge
  • People / Stake Holder management, both Team player and Site Leader.
  • Ensuring Timely Financial Closure of Projects & collection of Bank Guarantees.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in relevant Project site industry

Experience in handling Project commercial& site accounting
