Key Responsibilities

*Timely procurement

*Development of additional source to mitigate risk

*Price Negotiation

Key Activities:

*Procurements of raw materials i.e. API & Excipients required for Domestic & ROW market for Ratlam, Kandla & Tarapur

- Review of MRP. Conversion of PR to PO

- Make vendor comparative statement (considering volume / No of items etc) & coverage statement

- Vendor Negotiation

- Preparing & releasing purchase orders

- Regular follow up from vendors

- Delivery of materials at plant locations considering inventory,

requirement, analysis period

- Co-ordination with the suppliers and plants to ensure timely delivery

*Handling queries related to Quality Rejections / Damages

- Arranging CAPA for rejected material. Replacement & return of rejected lot.

*Development of additional source of procurement / vendors

- Arranging samples at plant (Excipients) and ADL & PDR (API) for analysis

- Arranging updated documents for supplier and vendor registration

- Follow up with concerned department i.e Plant/CQA/ADL/PDR for analysis/verification

- Handling queries related to documents requirement / material

- Co-ordination with vendor & QC for AMT if any (API)

- Raising change control

-Arranging material in co-ordination with planning for validation if any (for API)
