Commercial Driver

Location: Bengaluru Reporting To: Operations / Logistics Manager Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and disciplined Delivery Driver to handle timely distribution of frozen FMCG products to retail outlets, distributors, and key customers. The role requires safe driving, accurate delivery handling, basic documentation, and coordination with the warehouse and sales teams. Key Responsibilities Drive company vehicle to deliver FMCG products as per assigned routes and schedules Ensure timely and complete deliveries to all customers on the route Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring no damage or shortages Maintain delivery challans, invoices, and PODs accurately Collect signed acknowledgements and return documents to the office Follow FIFO, hygiene, and product handling guidelines (especially for food items) Coordinate with warehouse, sales team, and customers during deliveries Report any delivery issues, delays, or shortages immediately Ensure vehicle cleanliness and basic daily checks (fuel, tyres, temperature if applicable) Adhere to company policies, road safety rules, and cold-chain requirements (if frozen/chilled) Eligibility & RequirementsValid LMV / Transport Driving License Minimum 2–5 years of experience in FMCG / food / distribution deliveries preferred Familiarity with local routes and retail markets Basic reading and writing skills (to handle invoices and delivery documents) Physically fit to handle loading and unloading Honest, punctual, and customer-friendly attitude Preferred Skills: Experience with frozen / chilled / perishable goods Ability to use basic mobile apps for delivery tracking Understanding of delivery timelines and route discipline Working Hours: As per delivery schedule (early morning / day shifts may apply) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Overtime / incentives (if applicable)
