Collections Officer

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Group Loan Collection
• Recover overdue/NPA/write-off accounts from assigned customers.
• Prepare daily field movement plans in coordination with the Area Recovery Manager (ARM).
• Visit customers, understand reasons for non-payment, and provide feedback to management.
• Maintain detailed visit reports and customer interaction logs.
• Coordinate with the BU business team for customer background checks.
• Escalate non-cooperative or critical cases to the ARM promptly.
• Ensure collection activities are conducted as per bank policy and RBI guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass (Higher Secondary); Graduation preferred.
• Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.
• Familiarity with local area and language preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Convincing and negotiation ability.
• Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork daily.
• Basic understanding of banking and financial products.
• Self-motivated and result-oriented.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in collections or recovery roles.
• Knowledge of local banking regulations.
