Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Identify and resolve payment discrepancies in coordination with the finance.
• Track daily/weekly collection performance and report progress to management.
• Escalate high-risk or non-responsive accounts to senior management for appropriate action.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining firm and professional communication.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience

   in

  collections, receivables management, or customer account recovery

  , preferably in an

  EdTech, fintech, or service-based organization

  .
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM/ERP tools.
• Ability to handle high call volumes and work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and follow-up abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling B2C or B2B education finance or loan recovery.
• Exposure to payment gateways, finance automation, or loan management systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory norms related to financial collections.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Percentage of overdue recovery achieved.
• Average days to collect outstanding dues (DSO).
• Customer satisfaction score post-interaction.
• Number of resolved disputes per cycle.
