Collection Manager- NBFC

Job Title: Collection Manager – NBFC (Payday Loan Division)

Location: Dwarka Sector-17, New Delhi
Experience: 3–5 years in loan collections (preferably payday or unsecured loans)
Industry: NBFC / Fintech

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Collection Manager to lead and manage the recovery operations for our Payday Loan portfolio. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and team management skills, with a deep understanding of digital lending recovery processes and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee end-to-end collections & recovery operations for payday loans.
• Handle tele-calling teams and in-house recovery staff to achieve collection targets.
• Analyze delinquency trends and develop effective recovery strategies to minimize NPAs.
• Ensure compliance with NBFC and RBI collection guidelines.
• Maintain performance dashboards and MIS reports on daily/weekly/monthly collections.
• Coordinate with credit, legal, and risk teams for settlement or escalation cases.
• Implement skip tracing, reminder strategies, and digital collection tools for improved efficiency.
• Train and motivate the team to maintain professional and ethical collection practices.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience in loan collections (preferably short-term or payday loans).
• Strong knowledge of NBFC operations, lending lifecycle, and recovery laws.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, MIS reporting, and CRM tools.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Qualification:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Business, or a related field.
