Job Description

Job Summary:

The Collection Executive is responsible for recovering outstanding dues from customers, ensuring timely EMI payments, reducing delinquency levels, and maintaining healthy portfolio quality. The role involves regular follow-ups, field visits, and coordination with the branch and recovery teams to achieve collection targets in compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:1. Collections & Recovery

  • Follow up with customers for timely payment of EMIs and overdue amounts.
  • Visit customer locations for collection and verification, when required.
  • Negotiate and convince customers for repayment or settlement within defined timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and RBI guidelines during recovery activities.
  • Maintain cordial relations with customers while ensuring payment compliance.

2. Delinquency Management

  • Track and monitor daily collection reports and overdue accounts.
  • Identify high-risk customers and initiate corrective measures to minimize NPAs.
  • Coordinate with the branch and collection manager for follow-up on difficult cases.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of collections, receipts, and customer interactions.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports to the branch or regional office.
  • Update system entries with payment details and remarks.

4. Customer Interaction

  • Educate customers about payment schedules and the importance of timely repayment.
  • Handle customer queries related to outstanding dues, receipts, or settlements.
  • Provide feedback to the management on customer behavior and field experiences.

5. Coordination

  • Work closely with branch staff, credit, and legal departments for smooth recovery.
  • Assist in initiating legal or repossession processes for chronic defaulters, if required.

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Minimum qualification: 10+2 / Graduate (preferred in Commerce or Business).
  • 1–3 years of experience in NBFC, Banking, or microfinance collections.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of local areas and customer base.
  • Two-wheeler and valid driving license (for field collections).
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email reporting).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
