Collection Executive

We are looking for a proactive Collections Executive with 1–5 years of experience in debt recovery and collections. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, engaging with customers for recovery, implementing collection strategies, and initiating legal actions when required, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Accounts, Sales, and Legal departments to support debt collection efforts

Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies and recovery plans

Contact customers/defaulters via calls, emails, and visits to negotiate and recover outstanding dues

Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure timely resolution

Track defaulters using publicly available databases, including Credit Bureau reports, background checks, and loan documentation

Maintain accurate hard copy and electronic records of:

Customer communications

Payment commitments and settlement plans

Amounts collected and outstanding balances

Monitor adherence to agreed payment plans

Escalate cases and initiate legal notices, recovery actions, or repossession proceedings when recovery efforts fail

Ensure all collection activities comply with RBI guidelines and company policies

Prepare daily/weekly MIS and collection performance reports

Required Skills & Experience:

1–5 years of experience in collections / recovery (NBFC, Banking, or Financial Services)

Strong knowledge of loan recovery processes and collection cycles

Experience handling soft and hard bucket accounts

Familiarity with legal recovery and repossession procedures

Good negotiation and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally

Basic computer skills and documentation accuracy

Educational Qualification:

Graduation in any discipline

Preferred (Good to Have):

Experience with field collections

Knowledge of SARFAESI / legal recovery frameworks

Exposure to LMS/CRM systems

Pay: ₹10,517.64 - ₹25,237.49 per month
