Collection Executive

As a collections officer, you will play a crucial role in reducing the amount of unpaid debt incurred by the company. Your responsibilities will include negotiating extensions with clients, writing off debt when necessary, and ensuring the company's income is maximized. Key Responsibilities: - Overseeing accurate and timely invoicing of customers. - Creating and implementing strategies to improve the collection of outstanding credit. - Implementing collection policies and procedures to prevent excessive outstanding credit. - Ensuring adherence to company policies on recoveries in compliance with state and federal regulations. - Staying informed about legislative procedural training related to debt collection. - Training and mentoring staff members in the collections department. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. - 1-3 years of experience as a collections officer or freshers. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Exceptional leadership and managerial abilities. - Effective time and people management skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
