Coal Sales & Marketing Agent

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Coal Sales & Marketing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential industrial clients, building strong relationships, and generating consistent coal sales across various sectors. This role involves both field visits and remote outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential industrial buyers across sectors such as textiles, chemicals, engineering, manufacturing, food processing, and others.
• Generate new business leads through field visits, cold calls, networking, and inbound/outbound marketing.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with procurement teams, factory owners, and decision-makers.
• Understand client requirements for grade, quantity, and type of coal; coordinate with internal teams for pricing and logistics.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain proper documentation of enquiries, follow-ups, negotiations, and orders.
• Regularly visit industrial zones in Ahmedabad and surrounding areas to develop new business.
• Provide market insights, competitor updates, and customer feedback to the management.
• Ensure timely collection of payments from clients as per company policy.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in industrial sales, B2B field sales, or marketing (experience in coal, minerals, or raw material trading preferred).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Comfortable with frequent field visits and travelling within Gujarat.
• Basic understanding of industrial fuels, coal grades, and supply chain (preferred but not mandatory).
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and disciplined.
