Job Description

Location Nagpur, Maharashtra, India About the Role Lead our CNC machining plant. You’ll guide production, improve quality, and manage teams. You should be good at CNC programming and know how to keep things on time and budget. Key Responsibilities • Lead & plan: set short/long-term production goals; drive improvement. • CNC programming & setup: oversee programming (G-code/M-code) and optimize processes. • Production scheduling: create schedules, manage capacity, hit deadlines. • Quality & safety: implement QA/QC, safety rules, and standards (ISO/IATF awareness). • People management: train and mentor shop floor teams (programmers, setters, operators). • Tools & costs: manage tooling, fixtures, and costs; improve tool life. • Customer & projects: handle clarifications, NCRs, and new program launches. • Data & reports: track KPI like OEE, throughput, scrap, downtime. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor in Mechanical/Production Engineering (MBA/Master’s a plus). • Experience: 8–15 years in manufacturing; 3–6 years in a leadership role in CNC. • Skills: CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens), CAM software (Mastercam/NX/Fusion 360); GD&T basic metrology; ERP/MES basics. • Soft skills: good communication, problem-solving, team leadership.
