CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary:

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision components according to engineering specifications. He ensures the smooth and efficient operation of machining processes, adheres to safety and quality standards, and contributes to continuous improvement in production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to job orders and blueprints.
• Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and work instructions to ensure correct machine settings and part dimensions.
• Load raw materials and select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
• Monitor machine operation during production runs to maintain part quality and prevent equipment malfunctions.
• Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, batch numbers, and inspection results.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to resolve technical or dimensional issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating CNC machines .
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code) preferred.
• Attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.

Education & Experience:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
