Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Oversee daily last-mile delivery operations across assigned hubs/centers.
Ensure on-time delivery, adherence to SLAs, and minimal delivery exceptions.
Monitor route planning, load optimization, and delivery productivity.
Handle escalations related to delivery failures, customer complaints, and operational issues.

Team & People Management

Manage Hub Managers, Station Managers, and delivery partners.
Drive manpower planning, hiring, training, and performance management.
Conduct regular reviews, audits, and performance discussions.
Ensure discipline, compliance, and engagement of delivery staff.

Performance & Metrics

Track key KPIs such as OTIF, delivery success rate, cost per shipment, attrition, and productivity.
Analyze operational data and implement improvement plans.
Drive continuous process improvements and best practices.

Vendor & Partner Management

Manage third-party delivery partners and fleet vendors.
Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and company policies.
Control operational costs and improve vendor efficiency.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to SOPs, statutory compliance, and safety standards.
Conduct audits for cash handling, asset management, and process compliance.
Implement safety, hygiene, and risk mitigation measures.
