Cluster Chef

The role involves mobilizing new kitchen/units under the guidance of the Regional Chef/Operations Manager. You will be required to collaborate with other departments such as purchasing and merchandising to set budgets, determine necessary supplies, and ensure smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing production at the units, providing leadership to the production team, and ensuring adherence to recipes and food preparation standards. Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment at the unit is crucial, and you will be expected to lead by example in practicing proper food-handling techniques. Regular audits of production lists and documentation will be part of your duties, along with ensuring stocked stations during meal periods. Emphasizing excellent customer service, you will engage with customers to gather feedback for service improvement. Managing staffing levels across all units to maximize efficiency and actively participating in the management team at the base office will be essential. You will play a role in influencing unit sales by reviewing menus, setting prices, devising marketing strategies, and overseeing food costs. Additionally, training kitchen staff, introducing new dishes, and adapting to additional responsibilities assigned by senior management are part of the job. Ideal candidates for this position should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in food preparation, along with professional expertise and culinary training. A commitment to quality service, knowledge of food and beverages, and awareness of health and sanitation laws are necessary. Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment, a diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are also desired qualities. Strong leadership skills, teamwork, and a genuine passion for food and customer service are essential attributes.
