We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions to support our enterprise applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native solutions across AWS and GCP environments.
- Build and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform / CloudFormation / Deployment Manager.
- Configure and manage networking, VPCs, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls, IAM, and hybrid connectivity across AWS and GCP.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Stackdriver).
- Manage and optimize compute, storage, and database services (EC2, S3, RDS, GKE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, etc.).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Cloud Build.
- Ensure cloud security best practices (IAM policies, encryption, compliance, vulnerability management).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in multi-cloud environments.
- Work closely with application teams, DevOps, and security teams to support deployments and ongoing operations.
- Provide cost optimization and governance recommendations across both platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering with AWS and GCP.
- Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Strong knowledge of GCP (GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, IAM, Cloud Storage).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Deployment Manager).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker, EKS, GKE).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud security practices and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Good To Have)
- Multi-cloud strategy implementation experience.
- Certification(s): AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer and Google Professional Cloud Architect / DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises to cloud migrations.
- Knowledge of FinOps / cost optimization tools.
- Exposure to serverless computing (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions).
