Job Title: Senior Penetration Tester – Cloud Security Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 4–8 years Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Penetration Tester – Cloud Security to lead and execute sophisticated penetration testing engagements in cloud-native environments. You will simulate real-world attack scenarios to assess vulnerabilities in modern architectures, including containers, serverless functions, and microservices. This role is ideal for professionals who possess deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, advanced testing tools, and a strong passion for offensive security. What You’ll DoDesign and execute complex penetration tests on cloud-native applications, infrastructures, and data stores. Exploit vulnerabilities across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments using advanced tools and techniques. Assess security posture of modern architectures including microservices, containers, and serverless frameworks. Simulate real-world threat scenarios like supply chain attacks, lateral movement, and privilege escalation. Lead and mentor a team of penetration testers, sharing expertise and reviewing project deliverables. Ensure adherence to project timelines and maintain high-quality standards in testing operations. Develop and maintain SOPs, frameworks, and checklists for complex cloud penetration testing activities. What You Need to Bring4–8 years of experience in offensive security, with 2–6 years focused on cloud penetration testing. Strong knowledge of cloud security for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Expertise with offensive security tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, PowerSploit, etc. Experience with container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless environments. Proficient in Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages for automation and tool customization. Understanding of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms. Solid grasp of cryptography, network protocols, and cloud-native security best practices. Familiarity with threat hunting, red teaming, and intelligence gathering methodologies. Strong ability to think critically and creatively to simulate and exploit real-world vulnerabilities. Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Able to operate independently with minimal supervision. Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA). Active Security Certifications preferred – e.g., OSCP, CSSLP, CISSP, GPEN, or similar. Hands-on experience in cloud-native security tools, SIEM/SOAR integration, and compliance frameworks.
