About the Role:

Cloud Operations Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
  
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  
• Monitor system performance, usage, and health; respond to incidents and outages.
  
• Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and best practices.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to optimize cloud solutions.
  
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  
• Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and processes.
  
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical issues as needed.
  
• Analyze system logs and identify potential issues or bottlenecks.
  
• Continuously improve cloud efficiency and cost optimization.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, etc.).
  
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container technologies.
  
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT operations frameworks.
  
• Experience in cost management and cloud budgeting.
  
• Familiarity with logging systems like ELK, Splunk, or Fluentd.
  
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
