Cloud Operations Engineer

Role Overview: At Redis, we are looking for L1 Cloud Operations Engineers to join our first-line cloud operations team. As part of a 24/7 global operation, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, availability, and stability of Redis Enterprise cloud environments. This hands-on role involves monitoring, triaging, and resolving basic alerts while learning cloud operations practices and collaborating with senior engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor Redis clusters and respond to alerts in real time. - Perform basic remediation tasks such as failovers, memory checks, and routine optimizations. - Follow runbooks and escalation procedures with precision. - Collaborate across shifts to maintain 24/7 coverage. - Provide clear communication and updates during incidents. - Escalate issues to senior CloudOps teams when necessary. - Support documentation and continuous improvement of procedures. Qualifications Required: - 2 years of experience in technical support, NOC, or cloud operations. - Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Linux fundamentals. - Familiarity with monitoring/alerting tools and incident workflows. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a shift-based team. - Ability to remain calm under pressure, disciplined, and enthusiastic about learning. - Bonus: Knowledge of Redis or distributed systems.
