Project Role Cloud Operations Engineer

Project Role Description Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.

SummaryAs a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will engage in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure environments and applications. Your typical day will involve cross-technology administration, including operating systems, databases, and virtual networks. You will also focus on scripting and monitoring automation execution, ensuring that incidents are managed effectively with a strong emphasis on service restoration. Additionally, you will oversee the rollout of patches and manage the release management schedule and implementation, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of cloud operations.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for cloud operations.

Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure optimal operation and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Infrastructure Service Management.

Good To Have
Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Strong understanding of incident management processes and tools.

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.

Experience in managing virtual networks and storage solutions.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Infrastructure Service Management.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
