Project Role : Cloud Operations Engineer
Project Role Description : Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.
Must have skills : Google Cloud Platform Administration
Good to have skills : Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Shell Scripting

Summary: As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will engage in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure environments and applications. Your typical day will involve cross-technology administration, including operating systems, databases, and virtual networks. You will also focus on scripting and monitoring automation execution, ensuring that incidents are managed effectively with a strong emphasis on service restoration. Additionally, you will oversee the rollout of patches and manage the release management schedule and implementation, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of cloud operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Shell Scripting. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure management and deployment strategies. - Experience with incident management and service restoration processes. - Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages to enhance operational efficiency. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform Administration. - This position is based in Kolkata. - A 15 years full time education is required.
