About the Role:

Cloud & On-Premises Infrastructure Engineer

manage, maintain, and optimise both cloud-based and on-premises servers. The ideal candidate will

have a strong background in server/VM management, networking, VoIP systems, and database

administration, with the ability to lead a technical team.

Company Description

• Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud-based servers, virtual machines (KVM or equivalent), and related infrastructure.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, switches, and networking components, with a focus on VoIP networking.
• Manage VoIP platforms, including SBC, Kamailio, OpenSIPS, and Asterisk (preferred).
• Administer and optimize databases, including MariaDB and MongoDB.
• Lead and mentor a team of 5–8 engineers, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor and maintain system uptime in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) and work with CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or equivalent platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in

  server and VM management

  (KVM or similar hypervisors).
• Strong knowledge of

  networking concepts

  , especially

  VoIP networking

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  VoIP platforms

  and related technologies.
• Proficiency in managing

  routers, switches

  , and other networking hardware.
• Solid understanding of

  SBC, Kamailio, OpenSIPS, Asterisk

  (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong expertise in

  MariaDB

  MongoDB

  administration.
• Experience in

  containerization

  (Docker) and

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Experience with

  AWS, Azure

  , or other major cloud providers.
• Ability to

  lead a team

  in a high-availability 24/7 operational environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Cloud (AWS/Azure), Networking (CCNA/CCNP), or VoIP technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.
• Prior exposure to high-volume telecom or VoIP service environments.
