Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure & Demo Environment Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to design, provision, and manage end-to-end demo environments for internal teams and clients. This role involves automating environment setup (Infrastructure + Applications + Database), supporting demonstrations, and ensuring clean teardown post-demo.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Demo Environment Setup:
  
• Provision cloud infrastructure on Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  
• Deploy applications on WebLogic and Apache Tomcat.
  
• Set up and configure Linux-based environments and required databases.
  
• Automation & Orchestration:
  
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for environment provisioning.
  
• Automate configuration management and deployments using Ansible.
  
• Build scripts/playbooks for application setup and database initialization.
  
• Environment Lifecycle Management:
  
• Ensure smooth end-to-end setup of infrastructure, apps, and DB for demo readiness.
  
• Support live demonstrations and troubleshoot any infra/app issues.
  
• Implement environment teardown and cleanup procedures post-demo.
  
• Collaboration & Documentation:
  
• Work closely with solution architects and demo teams to understand requirements.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation of setup processes and automation scripts.
  
• Continuously improve automation to reduce setup time and minimize errors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Azure and OCI infrastructure provisioning.
  
• Strong expertise in Terraform (IaC) and Ansible (Configuration Management).
  
• Good understanding of Linux system administration.
  
• Experience deploying and managing WebLogic and Apache Tomcat servers.
  
• Knowledge of database setup and configuration (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infra/app/db issues quickly during demos.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of Kubernetes or containerization for demo environments.
  
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automation.
