Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures that are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient across AWS and multi-cloud environments.
• Lead the migration, modernization, and optimization of enterprise workloads to cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategies, solution blueprints, and technical standards.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and DevOps teams.
• Ensure cloud governance, compliance, and security standards are followed across environments.
• Design and integrate CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to streamline deployment processes.
• Architect and manage containerized and microservices-based applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Partner with stakeholders to assess requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful delivery of cloud projects.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies, evaluating their applicability to organizational needs.
  

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Strong experience in IT operations, with proven expertise in cloud architecture and engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in cloud services, tools, and technologies (compute, storage, networking, IAM, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficient in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and storage solutions.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

• Certifications such as:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Experience designing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, automation, and continuous integration.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
