Client Relations Manager (Placement Coordinator)

Role Overview

The Client Relations Manager will lead the placement function by building strong corporate partnerships, managing hiring pipelines, and ensuring that learners from all Meritshot courses are successfully placed across top companies.

This role requires a seasoned professional with exceptional corporate networking abilities and a proven track record of driving placements in tech and finance domains.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Outreach & Partnerships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, and corporate decision-makers.
  
• Identify and onboard new hiring partners across Technology, Finance, Consulting, Product, and Cyber Security industries.
  
• Pitch Meritshot’s talent pool and programs to companies for recruitment collaborations.
  

Placement Operations & Coordination

• Coordinate end-to-end placement processes for learners enrolled in:
  

• Data Science

• Investment Banking

• SDE (Software Development Engineer)

• Data Engineering

• Cyber Security

• Create placement pipelines and schedule interviews, assessments, and hiring drives.
  
• Maintain strong alignment between industry requirements and the student skill set.
  

Account & Client Relationship Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for all partner companies.
  
• Ensure a high level of satisfaction and engagement with corporate clients.
  
• Handle escalations, feedback, and process enhancements professionally.
  

Learner Placement Readiness

• Collaborate with trainers and academic teams to ensure learners are placement-ready.
  
• Share feedback on industry expectations, hiring trends, and skill gaps.
  
• Conduct placement readiness reviews when required.
  

Reporting & CRM Management

• Maintain accurate records of outreach, hiring pipelines, and placement outcomes.
  
• Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for leadership review.
  
• Use CRM tools to track leads, conversions, and corporate communications.
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong corporate network in tech and finance sectors
  
• Proven experience in EdTech placements, staffing, or talent acquisition
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple clients and pipelines simultaneously
  
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or related field
  

• 5+ years of experience

  in corporate relations, client management, placements, or talent acquisition
• Experience placing candidates in

  tech & finance roles

  is highly preferred

Compensation

• Annual CTC: 12–15 LPA

  (based on experience and performance)
