ClearTrail Technologies - Network Administrator - Cisco Catalyst

Key Responsibilities :

• Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices such as Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Dell Switches.
• Implement and manage network protocols including VPC (Virtual Port Channel), HSRP (Hot Standby Router Protocol), and STP (Spanning Tree Protocol).
• Configure and maintain network device security settings, including UTM and Firewall devices (preferably SonicWall and FortiGate).
• Set up and troubleshoot VPN connections to ensure secure remote access.
• Design and implement network security solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Use automation tools for network deployment and configuration management.
• Diagnose and resolve customer-reported network problems or configuration issues within agreed SLAs.
• Conduct technical reviews and maintain accurate network documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Evaluate new networking technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network efficiency and Skills and Qualifications :
• 3 to 5 years of experience in network administration and support.
• Strong hands-on experience with network devices such as Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Dell Switches.
• Proficient in configuring and managing VPC, HSRP, STP, and related network protocols.
• Experience with UTM and Firewall configuration and maintenance (SonicWall, FortiGate preferred).
• Skilled in VPN setup and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and automation for deployments.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to create detailed network design and technical documentation.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively to international locations as required.
