Civil Engineer

Key Responsibility:

• Ensure projects are executed as per design specifications, legal regulations, and company standards.
• Know how of various project site selection and understanding of contour survey reports.
• Lead and mentor the site team, engineers, and contractors to optimize efficiency.
• Selection and Coordination with architects, consultants, vendors, and government authorities for smooth project execution.
• Specification and RFQ preparation for issuance of tender documents.
• Evaluation of offers and technical comparative preparation.
• Project planning and ensuring that work is getting executed as per plan.
• Monitoring and controlling civil budgets with preparation of MIS.
• Ensure high-quality construction practices, materials, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Approve contractor bills, material procurement, and project-related expenses.
• Facilitate effective communication between various internal and external stakeholders.
• Co ordinate with various internal and external stake holders.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and adherence to safety norms.
• Address site challenges and provide technical guidance to resolve issues efficiently.
• Enforce site safety measures, security protocols, and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential hazards.

Skills:

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in civil engineering / architecture with min. 10 to 15 years’ experience.
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities.
• Expertise in project planning, budgeting, and cost control.
• Proficiency in construction management software (Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of local Industrial development projects.
