civil site engineer

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision:
• Oversee daily construction activities at the site to ensure work is executed as per approved plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Execution & Coordination:
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers for smooth workflow.
• Ensure materials, manpower, and machinery are available as per the project schedule.
• Verify measurements and quantities for construction activities.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards in construction.
• Ensure that all materials and workmanship comply with relevant specifications and drawings.
• Planning & Scheduling:
• Prepare and monitor project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Identify potential delays and report issues promptly to the Project Manager.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain daily progress reports, material consumption, and manpower records.
• Support billing engineers in preparing work progress documentation and quantity verification.
• Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations at the site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPEs by all site workers.
• Client & Vendor Coordination:
• Assist in site meetings with clients and consultants to update on progress.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering .
• 2–5 years of site experience in real estate or building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Excel preferred.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
