Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee construction activities at our project site in North Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring project milestones are met on time, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role demands excellent communication skills, proficiency in MS Office tools, billing expertise, and strong project scheduling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage on-site construction activities ensuring compliance with engineering plans and specifications.
• Prepare, review, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards and ensure adherence to safety regulations at the site.
• Prepare and process billing and measurement sheets accurately in coordination with the accounts department.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit them to project managers and stakeholders.
• Resolve site-related technical and operational issues proactively.
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources, materials, and manpower on site.
• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and compliance checks regularly.
• Assist in procurement and material management to avoid delays in construction activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (B.E / B.Tech) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in civil construction site engineering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with multiple teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of billing processes and experience in preparing billing documents.
• Expertise in project scheduling tools and techniques; ability to develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction sites.
