CIVIL Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer with 5 years of experience in industrial construction works, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance procedures and policies for construction projects. You will conduct regular inspections and audits of materials, processes, and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborating with project teams, you will identify potential quality issues and develop corrective action plans. Your role will involve preparing detailed reports on quality metrics, findings from inspections, and recommendations for improvements. Additionally, you will facilitate training sessions for staff on quality assurance best practices and regulations, monitor the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards, and participate in design reviews and project meetings to provide guidance on quality-related concerns. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry is required. You should possess strong knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and regulations, along with familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools like Six Sigma and ISO standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are essential for this role. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary to collaborate with diverse teams. The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously is a key requirement. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work. Your experience in industrial construction for 5 years and QA/QC for 5 years is highly preferred for this role.
