Civil Engineer

Hocco is Hiring Civil Engineer Job Location- Bavla Ahmedabad JOB Responsibilities Construction Supervision: Oversee civil construction activities including RCC works, flooring (epoxy/PU), insulation rooms, cold storage structures, and roofing. Monitor contractors and vendors for timely and quality execution of work as per approved drawings. Structural and Utility Support: Coordinate with mechanical/electrical teams to design civil supports for equipment foundations, pipelines, chillers, refrigeration units, and utility systems. Ensure proper slope, drainage, and flooring required in hygiene-sensitive areas. Hygiene & Compliance: Design and maintain civil infrastructure in compliance with FSSAI, GMP, and other food industry standards. Ensure proper installation of food-grade doors, drains, ventilation shafts, and other critical elements. Project Coordination & Documentation: Work closely with project managers, architects, and consultants for civil scope execution. Prepare project reports, daily progress updates, BOQs, and material requirement sheets. Maintenance & Civil Upkeep: Plan and execute repair, renovation, or civil maintenance activities inside the plant without disturbing operations. Conduct routine inspections of plant structures, walls, floors, and roofs for leakages, cracks, or damage. Vendor & Material Management: Evaluate and coordinate with civil contractors and material suppliers. Ensure timely availability and quality of civil construction materials like cement, steel, concrete, etc. Cost & Quality Control: Monitor budgets and reduce wastage by optimal use of resources. Enforce quality control measures across all construction and finishing activities. Safety & Environmental Compliance: Implement civil safety measures for plant personnel during and post-construction. Ensure all civil activities comply with statutory regulations and environmental norms.
