Civil engineer cum back office manager

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Site Engineer cum Back Office professional to oversee residential construction project and handle back-office coordination. The role involves monitoring site activities, ensuring timely project execution, coordinating with contractors/suppliers, and managing office documentation and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site (Construction Supervision):

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities at the site.
• Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, quality standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, masons, laborers, and suppliers.
• Conduct field visits, inspections, and progress checks.
• Report site status and issues to management regularly.

Back Office (Coordination & Operations):

• Handle project-related documentation, reports, and records.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and vendors for materials and work schedules.
• Operate computer systems (Excel, Word, Email) for data entry, billing, and communication.
• Assist in material procurement and tracking.
• Support management in overall project planning and execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or relevant experience in construction.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Emails, Internet).
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of home construction practices (materials, labor, timelines).
• Willingness to visit sites regularly.
