Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of Electrical and Civil materials for our ongoing infrastructure and project works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials essential to the timely and cost-effective completion of construction and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure materials related to Electrical (cables, panels, switches, lighting, etc.) and Civil (cement, steel, aggregates, tiles, etc.) works as per project requirements.

Identify and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers; build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Request quotations, analyze price comparisons, and negotiate for best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up for timely delivery to project sites.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and storekeepers to assess material requirements and ensure availability.

Track inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.

Inspect or ensure the quality of materials received at sites in collaboration with site teams.

Maintain proper documentation, including POs, delivery challans, GRNs, and invoices.

Monitor vendor performance and assist in supplier evaluations.

Work closely with Accounts & Finance for invoice processing and payments.

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Civil Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of experience in material procurement for construction or MEP projects.

Knowledge of construction materials standards and specifications.

Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems (SAP, Tally, etc.).

Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of local markets and suppliers

Basic understanding of contracts and purchase terms

Site coordination and logistics management

Attention to detail and cost consciousness

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
