Civil Design Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Design Engineer located in Chennai. The Civil Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to civil engineering design. The role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, preparing design plans and specifications, conducting site investigations, performing calculations and analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

🎓 Qualification: B.Tech / B.E – Civil Engineering

🗓 Experience: 1 - 2 Years

🗓 Notice Period : Immediate or 15 days

NOTE : we are looking candidates only from Chennai

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare design plans, specifications.
• Create and work on detailed 2D & 3D designs using industry-standard tools
• Perform Quantity Surveying, prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and assist in Cost Estimation
• Technical knowledge - AutoCAD - 2D and 3D, Sketchup
• Ability to perform calculations and analysis using relevant software and tools
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to ensure compliance
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
