Civil Design Engineer (Renewable Energy)

Key Responsibilties:

Engineering & Design

• Conduct technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations.
• Prepare

  PV plant layouts

  , array grouping, trench designs, and cable-laying routes as per land layout and profiles.
• Resolve design and development issues in a timely manner.
• Design

  roads, buildings, module mounting structures, switchyard foundations

  , and other related civil works.
• Prepare

  BOQs

  in accordance with building and structure standard codes.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, safety norms, and environmental regulations.
  

Project Execution & Management

• Manage project budgets, resources, material procurement, and manpower deployment.
• Schedule equipment purchases and deliveries.
• Ensure projects are completed

  on time and within budget

  .
• Prepare

  detailed project reports, technical feasibility reports, and RFQs

  for construction works in Solar PV projects.
• Perform preliminary site and technical analysis including

  site contouring, soil testing, flood analysis, and hydrology tests

  .

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

• Collaborate with clients, vendors, architects, and subcontractors.
• Supervise tendering procedures and evaluate bids against project specifications.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance.
  

Project Compliance & Sustainability

• Ensure strict adherence to

  health, safety, and environmental standards

  .
• Assess sustainability and environmental impact of projects.
  

CEO Task Support (Project & Task Management)

• Manage and prioritize the CEO’s to-do list and deadlines.
• Conduct research and prepare reports as directed by the CEO.
• Proactively anticipate requirements and take initiative in completing assigned tasks.
  

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Education:

  B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil Engineering.

• Experience:

  5–12 years in civil, structural, and plant layout activities for

  solar PV projects

  .

• Technical Expertise:

• Strong design and drawing skills for civil constructions in PV plants.
• Proficiency in general arrangement layouts for Solar PV plants.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
• Competence in engineering software for detailed design and complex calculations.
  

• Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and supervisory skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to oversee entire projects while managing technical details
