We are seeking a results-driven and experienced SCM professional to lead the end-to-end supply chain operations for large-scale renewable energy projects . The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor development, logistics, and contract management to support timely and cost-effective project execution. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of renewable energy markets, supplier ecosystems, and logistics in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead supply chain operations for utility-scale wind, solar, and hybrid projects , ensuring timely procurement and efficient logistics. Define and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Build and manage supplier networks across EPCs, OEMs, and component vendors (turbines, PV modules, inverters, BoS). Drive sourcing strategy , including RFQs, tender evaluations, and contract negotiations , ensuring commercial and legal compliance. Oversee inventory planning, logistics coordination , and delivery tracking to project sites across India. Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure project readiness. Monitor market trends , material price movements, and supply chain risks to develop mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to customs regulations , Incoterms, documentation protocols, and internal procurement policies. Champion digital transformation initiatives and process automation within the SCM function. Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing SCM team committed to excellence and accountability. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business , or a related field. (MBA or Master’s preferred) 8–15 years of progressive experience in SCM, with minimum 4 years in the renewable energy sector (solar/wind). Proven success in leading procurement and logistics for large-scale infrastructure projects (preferably >500 MW). In-depth knowledge of renewable energy components , technologies, supplier ecosystems, and industry trends. Strong command of contract management, negotiation, vendor evaluation , and relationship management. Experience working with international suppliers and understanding of import/export procedures and customs compliance . Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle , and advanced Excel. Excellent leadership, communication , and stakeholder management skills. Willingness to travel to project sites, vendor locations , and regional offices as required.
