About the Role

Civil Engineer (Site Engineer)

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure smooth project execution.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and vendors.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and engineering standards.
Prepare and maintain site reports, daily progress logs, and documentation.
Oversee material planning, requisition, and inventory management at the site.
Ensure compliance with design specifications, drawings, and statutory regulations.
Identify and resolve technical issues and site-related challenges proactively.
Support project managers with updates, planning, and project reviews.
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols at the site.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in site execution or site engineering roles.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and structural drawings.
Ability to interpret architectural/structural drawings and technical documents.
Experience with on-site measurements, leveling, and quality checks.
Familiarity with MS Office and basic project management tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and team coordination capabilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
Understanding of local regulations, permissions, and compliance norms.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools (optional, but preferred).

Work Location

Bangalore
Work from site/office depending on project requirements.
