Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: pune Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to take ownership of the QA/QC aspects of engineering construction projects, particularly in Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines. The role involves ensuring quality compliance, managing documentation, and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to uphold project standards and integrity. Key Responsibilities: Ensure quality and workmanship of all on-site activities in line with project requirements and engineering standards. Oversee and manage all QA/QC documents, including certificates, inspection reports, test results, calibration records, NCRs, and site observations. Review material quality upon delivery and on-site to ensure it meets specifications and project standards. Develop and implement inspection and test procedures, checklists, and inspection test plans (ITPs). Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards across all project stages and disciplines. Supervise inspection and testing activities and coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors. Conduct internal audits and participate in external quality audits; ensure timely resolution of non-conformities. Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and job safety and environmental analysis as per project scope. Compile and submit regular quality performance reports and documentation. Coordinate inspections with consultants, site engineers, and contractors Key Skills: Strong understanding of QA/QC principles and quality management systems. Continuous watch over RCC and Internal/External finishing work Proficiency in quality control documentation and audit practices. Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams. High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QA/QC reporting tools. Experience in preparing method statements, ITPs, and risk assessments. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.. QA/QC Certification (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor) is preferred. Familiarity with international codes, standards, and construction materials. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Role & responsibilities: Supervise labours, contractors, and other personnel on-site to ensure efficient work flow. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with senior engineer and project manager to resolve technical queries and provide solutions.
