Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil AutoCAD Draftsman located in Chennai. The Civil AutoCAD Draftsman will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, shop drawings, and architectural drawings. The draftsperson will also collaborate with engineers and architects to finalize designs and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Daily tasks will include drafting, revising, and managing drawing documents, as well as maintaining communication with other team members.

Experience Required:

• 10 to 12 years of relevant experience with strong technical knowledge, understanding of project requirements, and effective communication skills

Job Location: Chennai / Willing to travel to the site.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D

  – essential for preparing and modifying technical drawings.

• Experience in Quantity Take-off

  from both

  2D drawings

  and

  Revit models

  .

• Strong detailing skills

  for construction and architectural drafting work.

• Good working knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture

  software.

• Ability to prepare Bill of Materials (BOM)

  and extract quantities accurately from 2D drawings.

• Working knowledge of SketchUp

  for 2D visualization and conceptual design.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Drawing
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D and Revit Architectural Drawings, and general Drawing skills
• Understanding of architectural principles and practices
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• A relevant certification or degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture is preferred
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
