City Head

As the City Head at Swiggy, you will be leading a young and ambitious city team to run the best on-demand food delivery service while consistently raising standards. Your role will involve overseeing the Business, Supply, and Operations functions to drive sustainable growth and increase market share by addressing existing gaps and developing innovative strategies for both mature and fast-growing markets. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Sales team in acquiring new accounts and maintaining relationships with existing partners to ensure a balanced partner portfolio. - Develop a roadmap for acquiring new accounts in the city and oversee its implementation. - Strategize and implement account-related initiatives, ranging from operational troubleshooting to activations. - Cultivate strong relationships with partners and represent Swiggy within the community. - Manage the Operations team to deliver top-notch customer experiences, ensuring optimal resource utilization and safety for delivery executives. - Handle administrative functions, performance reporting, and streamline processes and systems where feasible. - Manage the city team by recruiting, training, setting targets, devising incentive plans, and planning career growth for team members. - Engage in stakeholder management with internal central stakeholders to drive city projects efficiently, resolve roadblocks, and ensure alignment for successful outcomes. Qualifications Required: - Relevant experience in Sales, Marketing, or Operations with a strong inclination towards leadership. - Proficient decision-maker capable of creating and executing strategic sales and marketing plans. - Visionary thinker with the ability to anticipate macro-level business factors and plan proactively. - Graduation/post-graduation from a reputed institution, showcasing excellent negotiation and communication skills in English and Hindi/local language. - Ability to establish and leverage a diverse network of contacts both internally and externally. - Uphold high ethical standards in all professional interactions.
