Key responsibilities

• Visual planning: Interpret the director's vision and screenplay to plan the look of the film, including the mood, theme, and feel of each scene.
• Equipment selection: Choose and manage all camera and lighting equipment, such as cameras, lenses, and filters, to create the desired aesthetic.
• Lighting: Design and set up lighting to create specific atmospheres and moods for each shot.
• Shot composition: Determine camera angles, framing, and camera movements for each shot to enhance storytelling.
• Crew management: Lead and manage the camera and lighting crews, directing camera operators and assistants.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the director to develop the visual style and ensure consistency throughout the project.
• Post-production: Participate in post-production, including color grading, to shape the final look of the footage.
