Chief Technology Officer

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder at Learnlab Education Pvt. Ltd., located in Begumpet, Hyderabad, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology strategy and development of our fast-growing EdTech startup. Learnlab Education is dedicated to providing personalized 1:1 mentoring and live learning experiences for K-12 students, with a focus on innovation, quality learning outcomes, and fostering academic excellence in India. Your primary responsibilities will include defining and executing the overall technology strategy in alignment with the company's vision, building and scaling the EdTech platform (web and mobile), overseeing product architecture, backend/frontend development, database management, and integration with AI-based tools or LMS. Additionally, you will be tasked with recruiting, mentoring, and managing a high-performing tech team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring platform performance and data security, and representing the technology vision in investor discussions and pitch decks. The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least 10 years of experience in software/product development, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in EdTech platforms. Hands-on expertise in React.js, Node.js, Python/Django, MySQL/PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP, and scalable architectures is essential, along with a solid understanding and application of AI/ML tools and frameworks in the EdTech domain. An entrepreneurial mindset, strong execution skills, and a passion for education, innovation, and user-centric design are key attributes we are looking for.
