Entheory is a health-technology company engineering the invisible infrastructure for connected care in India. Our AI-powered platform securely compiles fragmented clinical data from disparate EMRs, labs, and imaging systems, transforming it into a single, unified, longitudinal patient record. By providing a comprehensive health history, we deliver critical, synthesized insights directly into clinical workflows, empowering clinicians to make faster, more informed decisions when they need them most.

In India's complex healthcare landscape, oncologists lose a critical 20–30 minutes per patient visit to the manual, error-prone task of compiling data from disconnected EMRs, labs, and imaging systems. This systemic friction means critical information gets missed, diagnostic timelines are delayed, and ultimately, lives are at stake.

The Opportunity:

We're seeking a Technical Co-Founder/CTO to lead the development of India's first ABDM-native, AI-powered healthcare interoperability platform. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the technical direction of a company poised to impact millions of lives.

Who We're Looking For:

Must-Have Requirements

• 8+ years software engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership
• Proven track record of building and shipping products from zero to One
• Strong full-stack development skills (Python, Node.js, React preferred)
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud architecture
• Comfortable with technical debt and rapid iteration in early-stage environment
• Passion for solving problems with technology

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Healthcare IT experience (EMR integrations, FHIR/HL7 standards)
• AI/ML expertise, particularly in NLP and clinical applications
• Experience with healthcare compliance (HIPAA, ABDM)
• Early-stage startup experience
• Understanding of Indian healthcare ecosystem

What You'll Actually Do:

First 6 Months (Builder Mode: ~30% hands-on coding):

• Architect and code the core microservices, data pipelines, and our LLM summarization engine.
• Act as a forward-deployed engineer, embedding with oncologists to transform their workflows into killer features.
• Build robust, FHIR-native integrations for EMR, PACS, and LIS systems.
• Implement security-by-design from day one, embedding HIPAA/NDHM controls and DevSecOps guardrails.

Months 7-12 (Leader Mode: Transitioning to scale):

• Recruit, lead, and mentor the core engineering and ML team.
• Establish a high-performance engineering culture: define OKRs, set up on-call rotations, and lead blameless retrospectives.
• Be the technical voice in the room during investor pitches.
• Scale our infrastructure for seamless multi-hospital deployment

Bonus Points (The Game-Changers):

• You've navigated the complexities of EMR integrations or clinical workflows before.
• You have experience with LLM production deployment and monitoring.
• You've contributed to open-source projects like OpenMRS or HAPI-FHIR.
• You have a network in Indian hospitals or diagnostic chains.
• You're familiar with the ABDM/NDHM ecosystem.
