As we continue to expand, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operations and help drive the institute to new heights.

Role Overview:

The COO will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for overseeing daily operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across all departments. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic vision, and operational expertise to drive growth and efficiency in a dynamic aviation training environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the institute, including flight training, classroom programs, maintenance, administration, and student services.
• Design, implement, and monitor operational strategies to achieve short-term and long-term organizational goals.
• Ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team on business strategy, growth plans, and expansion initiatives.
• Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable profitability.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities, implementing solutions to improve processes and overall institute performance.
• Maintain and enhance the institute’s reputation for quality, safety, and student satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in senior operational or executive leadership roles; experience in aviation, education, or training institutes highly preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style.
• Deep understanding of aviation regulations, safety standards, and operational compliance.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
